    HOLD STILL Sally Mann -

    Our local Public Library has this one in at the urging of my Uncle.

    Have read it and have one thing to say in review.

    She is as good a writer as she is a Photographer.

    I agree. It's a wonderfully written book— Ms. Mann has had a very interesting life.

    I enjoyed the book too.

    I keep thinking about how those photos of the children must be painful for Sally Mann to contemplate since Emmett's suicide in June of 2016. Surely there is no greater tragedy than this for a parent.

    I enjoyed seeing that even she had trouble evenly winding 35mm film onto developing reels.
