    Very nice lines and lighting. An interesting photo to draw someone in.

    This is called color, you may have heard of it. I made a wet plate onto unobtainium and then stippled in the color with a 0000 sable brush and watercolors made from Yak dung.




    My kids live in San Francisco and hate getting their pictures done ;-p

    You gotta flip it for it to be a wet plate. (unless it's a british wet plate and that's the way the cars would park on the street there)

    In the first photo, it might have been helpful for you to move to the left - or have the subject step to her left. It would have placed her in front of the wall, instead of the door and other items. The image would look more dimensional that way.

    IMHO, the second photo is more effective in that regard: more coherent, intimate, handsome.
