Nicely done, Jonathan. I need to quit being so wimpy and get out in the less than desirable elements like I used to.

This is one of those examples where the film "sees" the scene so much differently than your eyes do. I was shocked by the foreground detail and even the light on the side of the utility pole. None of that registered on the ground glass at the time I was focusing.

I like that very much with the lights in the fog.
    Beautiful colors.

    Andi,

Thank you for the kind words.

    Jim,

Thanks. I did get a bit cold, but it wasn't like I was trudging through the wilderness or anything. I'm a night owl anyway, so leaving the house at 3:00 A.M. is not a big deal for me. Waking up early is, though!

I have a number of other shots from that night, but they got a bit redundant after a while. Street lights, trees, fog. Some worked and some did not. I severely overexposed a few of the chromes because I was assuming a much greater reciprocity factor than was needed. Live and learn.

    Zaitz,

Very cool! Looks like the set of a sci-fi movie.

Damn Zaitz, you're doing some cool work. What are you doing with these shots, and do you have an overall project in mind?
