Riverbank - Downie River, Sierra City, CA
This I like. It came up tiny on my phone, first, so I got to understand the whole color aspect of it. I was fearing when I saw the thread that I was going to immediately run into the totally content-free kind of deadly landscape photos that prompt hyperfocal discussions (Best answer to the hyperfocal question: "You wouldn't have to ask about hyperfocal focusing if your boring photos actually had anything to look at in them.") But that's not what showed up. The color, its use and placement, is delightful!
Thanks, but I'd rather just watch:

The lighter leaves appear to have been dodged. This makes the image feel more alive but when dodging is excessive it can look contrived.
