That makes sense. I just wondered, because my mailing label has four rows of numbers and letters. I assumed one was the password until today when this thread alerted me to it being printed on the cover. If I had read the Contents page more carefully I would have known that the password was now on the cover.

I thought that that number was some sort of production date/location code similar to what Playboy used have with the bunny and the stars.

Well, I went down to the post office this afternoon and then damn thing was there! Wasn't there Wednesday but it was today. So I logged on to the VC website to check out (for the first time mind you) the special subsbribers section only to find:

"Due to a security breech on the Large Format Forum, the password to the Subscriber's Section of our website has been changed..."

So I still don't know what the "special subscribers section" is but whaterever it is let's make it permanently accessible.

Has anyone gotten the new password yet? I'm not asking for it here, but I emailed them twice using the email address on the site, and have not gotten a response. My server eats a few emails now and then, but usually not from the same address twice.

The password is printed on the bottom of the cover on subscriber copies.
