Looking for a museum-quality framer in San Francisco

    Hi all,

I have sold a couple of very large prints (1600x1300mm) to some clients in SF. They saw them framed at my house in Sydney where my framer, who works for the museums & major galleries here, had done a killer job and they want to assure equivalent quality in SF.

Any leads would be much appreciated.

I work extensively with Rafael at The Framing Dragon in Mill Valley (415-388-1497). His work for me includes 60"x30" prints under museum glass, in custom made solid walnut frame; 48" x 40" matted & framed in walnut under museum plex; numerous 48"x40" canvas stretching; and much more. Rafael works with many very high end clients. For example, he recently showed me a $12,000 framing job of a piece of art valued over $100K.

Rafael is a photographer in MF & FL, a skilled woodworker, an artist, and a dear friend. If your clients have fine taste, plenty of money, and are reasonably patient then I highly recommend Rafael.

    Hey Duncan

I'm sorry I forgot to reply earlier, but I passed this on to my clients.

    Many thanks!
