Cameras like that were still the standard for large group photos into the 60's. I have one of my 7th grade class. If you we're quick and the teachers weren't looking, you could be in two places in the picture.

I remember a class photo from one (or from a similar type of camera) of those back in middle school back in the 90s
If you were on the end and ran past enough after it started you could be on both ends of the group.
