    Eric,

You have to send them your camera and lens and then they can make a cam from a 150mm blank cam. It really isn't custom.

ok if you say so - perhaps they didn't understand my e-mail? maybe I'll call them to make sure? I wouldn't want to send anything off until I know how much it will cost and for how long they would have the camera.

Bob--Will Nippon also sell parts? Martin was great about that, he's sold me various knobs and small parts for my Wista and later my Linhofs.

Yes, but they don't have as many parts yet.

Good to know, thanks! I've dealt with Nippon in the past and they've always done good work. Still, Martin will be missed.

I called Nippon today to ask about cams for my Tech V and they told me that they don't do them but rather they have to send them back to Germany. Seems unfortunate that the cams can't be ground here.

Bob Watkins will be doing camming in the USA after he goes through factory training in the fall. If you need a lens cammed and you don't want to send it to the factory or wait till Bob is doing it then you can send it to Blazes in Toronto.

Is Bob Watkins going to do other Linhof repairs and service as well, or just cams? He's great to work with.

And Bob (Watkins, that is) has been doing an outstanding job of working on my Linhof MT on several occasions. We are already planning for a couple of cams when he returns from training, thus far he has my camera set up to work beautifully with the rangefinder (which he reinstalled for me as the previous owner had it removed) and my 150mm lens, and we'll be adding a 110 and 210mm cams. Most highly recommended.
