    Home-made film washer for Jobo tanks

    Actually, this will work for any tank that uses a center column.
    I'm sure many of you have something like this rigged up, but in case you don't...

    It costs about $10; the hose attached to the faucet is surgical tubing, so no clamp needed, quick on/off.
    The other tube is run-of-the-mill hardware store tubing, connected to the surgical tube with a plastic adapter.
    With a little jiggling, the thin clear hose can be inserted all the way down the Jobo's centre column, and water can be run quite slowly.
    I've found that 5 minutes of washing will do the job every time; I have film from 1994 that hasn't aged a day.
