Crown graphic and kalart rangefinder adjustment short lenses

I looked at the graflex .org site and found the procedure for adjusting the finder but what I would like to know is has anybody adjusted it for very short lenes like the 47 or 58. The advice at the graflex site was mostly for older press lenses and this lens is so hard to focus it would be great to have a rangefinder to determine distance and use a finder to frame. Again, No. There isn't that much adjustment. Either model, top or side.
