    Interesting idea.

RT from SF to Moscow range between 600 and 1000.

    Definitely doable.

Very interested to visit russia. Been dreaming of the red bricks with snow, but traveling there from my country requires quite a number days of leave which i cannot afford to take currently. If i have time and saved up enough, will definately contact you.

    Bump,

Anyway. I am driving distance to San Francisco and Yosemite(Bodie and Mono Lake). Sacramento and the Sierras. Lake Tahoe.

If there is any real interest is setting up some form of photography foreign exchange, I would be very interested myself.

I am surprised something like that doesn't already exist. I have a nice place, couple of couches, spare bedroom. A darkroom to use. I could easily feed someone for a week. Go out on a few photographic excursions, etc. You can rent a car for like $30 a day if you want to explore on your own.

The idea of exchanging that for non-touristy travel and photography abroad sounds exciting, really.

I made a trip to Ukraine in June. Outstanding! Russia, Croatia and all such parts are worth seeing and photographing!

Transiberian train sucks... just saying. I done it and its a sure way to wish to never being born Not to mention you dont really get to see all that much, like in old days (and even in old days it was not all that much fun).
