    Greetings and thanks from Sweden!

    Hello all!
I have just a couple of days ago registered here as a member, but for quite some time I have been here reading and serching for answers here about LF photography.
And thanks to you all, and all the answers I have found here, I just yesterday ordered my very first LF camera!!
It has for me been a quite long procedure to dare to do this, but now I'm happy as a kid waiting for Santa!
What camera did I order? Yes, it is a Wista Field 45DX. I have searched and searched the used markets, but here in Sweden I haven't found anything that suited me, and on E-bay and abroad, the shipping costs and customs are just immense. And as I am new to this, I finally decided to go for a new one. And to that a Yamasaki WideAngle-Congo 90/6,3.
I'm so happy to be here, happy that this is still an opportunity!

So thanks again to all of you that have already helped me even if you didn't know.... But you have!! :-)

    Best regards
    Marie

    Hi Marie,
    Welcome.
My first LF camera was a Wista 45DX and despite now owning a B&J 4x5/5x7, a 1927 Ansco 4x5/5x7, a Sinar Norma with 4x5 & 8x10 backs and a camera of questional origins that covers 8x10 & 11x14 I would never part with my Wista. It's light, has nice bellows draw for "normal" 4x5 photography, all the movements that I've ever needed from a 4x5 and it's pretty, what more can you ask!
    Pete.

Now your landscapes (medium format?) are what landscapes should be!
SX70 and "impossible" will only be a source of frustration, though.
