    RH PHILLIPS EXPLORER 8x10

If anyone's interested, there's one on the auction site right now and finishing soon.

I'm of course in no way connected to the sale... just for the record. Thought the availability of such a camera is in the interest of people here.

For the record, it closed at $4200 for a kit including two holders, a GG protector and a BTZS hood.

Nice camera. ~$2000 extra (around 2x) the price of a better looking Chamonix 8x10 just to save enough weight to carry 2 extra film holders. Different strokes for different folks

Well buying the camera actually made by the designer rather than some copycats is also worth more, if only in karma.

And the comparisons I've read between the original Phillips and the Chamonix placed them close but had the Phillips slightly superior in every way.
