Hi! - Yes I have used it on my 6x9 Arca Swiss (had to be adapted) from 1982 - 1985, and it's great. The weight is only 170 gr. If you try to find it used, be sure to get the current model as pictured. Older models can not be changed between horizontal and vertical orientation, and may also be heavier. - I can not compare to the Horseman. - Good light! Hening.
