Good morning everyone,

We are going back to Cedar Hill State Park on Saturday, October 20th.

I know a lot of people had to miss this beautiful spot last time around, and everyone who did have the chance of shooting in the park agreed that we need to go back!

Sunrise is at a much more reasonable 7:25AM -- Sunset will be at 7:04PM.

I saw several wonderful spots that will keep me there for both times of the day. So I might spend the whole 12 hours around the area and explore a bit of the historical spots in the general area during the "worst light" hours! We will do lunch around noon - and arrange for a spot as we get closer to the 20th - or for more fun, bring food for a picnic and let's see and talk about some of your photos.

Please RSVP on this thread so I can keep a headcount going.

Hmm.. i thought they do open at like 9am... Tried to go there about 2 weeks ago, and was bummed out by that, had to drag around myself in bleedin' heat.

But. Unless something horrible would come up - i would love to join.
(bugger. i just realized.. i might be in NYC still on Hadoop conference.. will check more with my other calendar tomorrow..speaking of horrible)

Sergei, the park is open 7 days a week from 6AM until 10PM

Well, looks like I should be able to make it. Cold JB? would be nice, but I will settle for cool...high anything under 80. Oh and nice clouds while were wishing, really nice clouds.
