Besler 45 MCRX, and a Dichro 45 color computer... Newbie needs help.

Help,
I pluged the Beseler 45 MCRX/Dichro 45 Color computer into the wall plug, and the skinny control plug (on the left side of the color head) into a Gralab 505 digital timer. The enlarger stays on all the time. It's like that cord does nothing. Am I connecting it right? Any suggestions?
