Anything Good w/ Omega ProLab II and D5500?

It seems folks are trying to avoid the D5500/Prolab II in favor of the D5. I know the D5500 chassis has the roller problem, discontinued early and a bit hard to get parts. But anything good about the D5500/Prolab chassis?

And the ProLab II is just the D5500 chassis with the VC head? I know both were designed/made later than the D5.

I like mine, the price was right, included a bevy of carriers and a loaded 3 lens turret. With care and some attention to setup, they are capable of excellent results.
