The pictures seem quite nice --- anyone been here for LF photography? Any travel tips?

Yes, been there. Fly to Bodø, rent a car there. Take the ferry and 6 hours later you arrive in Å (pronounce Oh!, which you might say "woaw"). The road is narrow, but many places to stop. The landscape is breathtaking, the water is transparent, and it is very good fishing. You can drive back to Bodø using several ferries and nice bridges.

Or you can fly directly to Leknes (LKN), Svolvær (SVJ) or even Stokmarknes (SKN) so you can see Vesterålen as well. You get there from Oslo (OSL) with Widerøe.

Nothing in Norway involving service, transport or overnight stays is at a reasonable level. This is from someone who is used to other price levels at European "hot spots"!
Otherwise, it is a splendid country.
