    color correction

I have recenently been reading about the mired system of color correction. Has anyone referred to this in their photography and has it helped anyone, what are your opinions-- such as has anyone obtained good results using two filters to match daylight film and tungsten light source to daylight film temperature?

    Thanks.

    color correction

I have a full set (8) of Tiffen decamired filters in Series VII, most of a set (5) in Series VIII, and a couple in Series VI. My color temperature meter is my weak point right now, though that will change pretty soon (a Gossen Sixticolor isn't the way to go for critical work).

I've used DM filters for years - never had a problem stacking two filters (3 can get dicey).
