The best way to imitate the look of wet plate collodion

I would like to make some mountain landscapes and go as close at possible to wet plate collodion image look. I am going to use blue filters as it's recommended to achieve effect of wetplate collodion. But which films are best to shot? I was wondering about one of these: Adox CHS 25, Rollei Ortho 25 or FP4+ and soup them in my favoirite Adox APH09. Also not sure which lenses to take with me, I think of RR, Meyer's Aristostigmats and Protars VIIa... and last unknow question is paper chosing for printing... Is it a good stuff to aim the goal at all?

I will apreciate any advice and suggestion.

A deep blue filter or an ortho film will be as close as you can probably get, but it won't be quite the same. Collodion works largely by ultraviolet, which isn't really the same as blue-sensitive. But landscapes will show it less than portraits.

    It's pretty easy in Photoshop.

It's pretty easy with collodion too.

Only collodion will make an image which looks like a wet plate image.

I would suggest Petzval lenses, but even there keep in mind that the "look" comes from light going through the emulsion, through the glass plate, and some of it reflecting back from the rear surface of the plate and hitting the emulsion from behind. All modern films have anti-halonation coating.

Mix a special blend of pigments and print in carbon transfer :-) I've attached my humble attempt.

So, the Ortho without the blue filter?
