I just checked to see if LI still had an active web site. They do, and now have their address listed as back in Rochester NY. Does anyone know when this happened, and more importantly has the company possibly been sold again?

I have been dealing with Archival Methods since LI fell apart three ago. They have everything I need and are great to deal with.

Ed, same here. But I'm still curious about LI.
It seems that LI has contracts with the Library of Congress as well as accounts with the Getty Museum, the Smithsonian and the Metropolitan Museum of Art (they tout it on their web site). With such big clients, who needs little ole us photographers? Just think how much they can gouge the US government for their merchandise and have all the little taxpayers pick up the bill.
Light Impressions went bad after the original owners sold the company. The people who used to own/work at Light Impressions formed Lumiere Photo.

Light Impressions was bought out of bankruptcy by a company called "FDM Brands" (http://fdmbrands.com/).
