No tickling required. In fact I planned to take the shot with her eyes closed, but at the last second she opened them a tiny bit and smiled, too. She gets full credit for improving the shot. She's a reluctant model, but even she admits this is a good photo of her. Of course I think so but I've got no objectivity!

Another one from same test. Heliar is wide open, and film is Arista EDU 100 (i ran out of ilford suddenly and all the rest of film was either colour or iso 25 and light was fading.. so i winged it on 1/15th..).. Wee tilt here.

I got bogged today...I mean my van and darkroom caravan I use to shoot on location got bogged for 3 hours. I had to be saved by a passing 4WD. I did get to shoot 2 plates though in between bursts of rain and digging out the caravan. A bit of a challenge but loads of fun.
Darrell is an aboriginal leader who travels to small outback communities.
