    I was thinking of kicking film to the curb once I started with the wet plate. Now, maybe more like 60/40, I'm not THAT much of a masochist.

    It's not that difficult. Make sure you keep your chemicals and plateholder CLEAN.

    Well, I don't know when I will learn wet plate stuff. Here are two "found" 14x17 negatives I thought I accidentally destroyed. My Epsom 3490 scanner is way too small so I scanned the heads. They are half body portraits taken during the Oceano Dunes trip a few weeks ago. HP5 film with front element of Hermagis Eidoscope #2 lens.
