    Hello from Germany

    Hi everyone,

since my plan for this year is to venture into LF, I thought I better register at this forum

I have some film experience in my dark past, but never really tried LF. in recent years I mainly did landscape work (usually on longer backcountry hikes off the beaten tracks), some architecture and wildlife, and some abstract.

So my idea is to get myself a lightweight 4x5 field camera such as the Tachihara, some b&w developing chemistry and then scan the negatives.

Anothe option for a camera might be the TOHO monorail, but I cannot find it anywhere for sale.

Anyway, that is my current struggle

    Cheers,
    Alex

Welcome, Alex. You probably will have more luck finding a field camera... and they set up faster.

Welcome. If you're looking for an ultralight monorail, check out the Gowland.

Thanks! Looks like it could be a good alternative indeed! Will check if they are available somewhere.
