Hello,

I'm a new guy -- NOT into photography myself, but posting on behalf of my late cousin and wet plate enthusiast/student. In as such, for approximately twelve years he was devotedly and whole-heartedly pursuing his ambitions of being a collodion artist when he unexpectedly passed away in February of 2009.

He has left behind quite a collection of period cameras, supplies, darkroom equipment, and especially fine brass lenses (over 50) from the 1800’s. In an effort to make sure we honor my late cousin, we’re finding appreciative homes for his most-treasured possessions. I’m on this forum to request your kind assistance or find those who have an interest in looking into the items my cousin had amassed -- whether of personal interest or simply to graciously offer suggestions on where to offer the items for sale -- would be most wonderful.

I have photo-cataloged all the items (and there are many) which I will share with anyone interested in seeing the collection. I will respond to inquiries with a link to download a pdf file containing the photos of the collection.

Thanks for your interest and input.
