The instructions that come with your paper will tell you what settings to use for grade 5, etc on a colorhead. don't have them? Ilford's website or a google search should turn them up. I start with grade five, just only dial in magenta to the max.

Multigrade paper uses colour filters to change contrast.
To make a soft, low contrast print, dial in lots of yellow.
To make a hard, high contrast print, use a lot of magenta.
Middle grades use a combination- inside the paper package is a leaflet listing all the combinations.
Your thin neg is probably low in contrast, so start with a lot of magenta only. If you tell us what kind of enlarger you have, someone will probably post the filter combinations for you.
