    Restoration help

This is actually my first post here ... though I have read many threads, in search of info for my Durst Laborator that I am assembling.

I have a Rochester Optical Folding Premier (1892 1st version)camera that I am trying to restore.
The shutter is working, the leather is in very bad shape, the handle is missing, as is one piece of the front top frame ... most importantly the ground screen is missing.

Does anyone know if there is any other camera that may have the same ground screen size as a replacement ?

Ground glass is should be no problem. Here is one source. http://www.hopfglass.com/

You can also find a lot of info grinding your own if you do a google search.

Go to your local glass/window guy with the camera back, and have him/her cut a piece of frosted glass to fit.... it works fine ..... probably less than $10.00. My 8x20 was $15.00....
