Burke & James Press 4x5: restoration... need help

    hi
I have a B&J that has stiff/hard bellow. Is there a way to soften the bellow? I'm not sure it's made out of leather so I haven't try Lexol Leather Cleaner on it.
    - also the revolving back is very stiff, I can move it with lot of force. Can anyone give guidance on how to dissemble and clean it.

    thanks

I believe the back of my older B&J press camera is held on by four screws accessible from the front of the camera at about the 1, 4, 7, and 10 o"clock position. The bellows on my camera has been reattached so it partly covers some of these screws, so I don't want to explore further.
