Converting a B&J Enlarging/Reducing camera into an enlarger

I recently picked up a super clean B&J Ingento enlarging/reducing camera and an Aristo 12"x12" cold light head with the intention of building a horizontal 5x7 enlarger.
Before I launch into the project (and not having any experience in building enlargers), is this a bad idea? Any advice from anyone with any experience or insight would be greatly appreciated.Click image for larger version.

Why build/convert when you can get a 5x7 enlarger for free: http://www.largeformatphotography.in...r-Pick-Up-Only

Ansel Adams did it with a somewhat similar 8x10 wooden camera. There are a few images of it in one or more of his books, plus I found these on the internet http://www.silberstudios.tv/...visit...e-and-darkroom at about 8:35 but enjoy the whole video, and at techcrunch.com/2011/...what-ansel-adams-darkroom-looked-like. While he used extremely high intensity bulbs, I've wondered if using a bank of the new flourescent screw in bulbs might not work, at least in black and white.
