    Interesting POV Brian. Be interested in seeing more Grampians images I find it a hard place to get a good image.

    The mountain weather had skinned it of bark.

    I guess it sorta counts as tree bark since it's a portion of a fallen tree.

    Two curvi-licious trunks w/ deep bark fissures.

    They’re big leaf maples. The nearby trees are, too.

    The very deep shadows on bark & moss were critical = the sunlit background is lost.
