4x5 film like Kodak Ektar 100?

I'm new to LF and going to learn using various flavors of Fuji instant, but when I begin shooting real film I would like something like Kodak Ektar 100. A color negative film with saturated colors that scans well for landscapes and such. I like Velvia, but often prefer negative film because of greater exposure latitude, and on 35mm have come to like Ektar 100. Any recommendations for a 4x5 color neg film with vivid, saturated colors?

    Thanks,

    Mike

Kodak Portra 160 VC is commonly used for landscape work, and can give pretty decent saturation. The VC stands for Vivid Colour. You can also get it in NC, which is Natural Colour.

Fuji has a 160 ISO portrait film that comes in S and C flavours, with the C being the more vivid and saturated of the two.

I love Kodak Ektar 100, and as odd as it might sound, I'm glad I can't get it in 4x5, as I'd probably go broke buying the stuff and getting it developed! It is my primary film for when I'm shooting Medium Format.

Kodak Portra 160VC sounds like a good solution, and I've tried it out for when I want a faster alternative when shooting 35mm, but honestly it lacks a certain something that the Ektar 100 has.

There is a film way better than 4X5 Ektar. It's called 8X10 Ektar.

You guys realize this post is over 2 years old, right? Before Ektar was available in 4x5.

I realize it, but for people like me running a search and reading up on user's preferable film type, this old post can be misleading.
