    Jobo light trap (funnel) help

    Hi guys,
does anyone can help me to understand how to mount the light trap on a Jobo 2551 tank?
I have a new one and found nothing on the web about.
I'm feel stupid but I can't recognize how the 3 tabs and notches works...
    Some pics would be great.
    Thanks.

It is a bayonet lock. Clockwise to lock (about a third of a turn); opposite to unlock.

I doesn't snap in easily when rotating clockwise to lock it in, you'll need to use some force.

Re: Jobo light trap (funnel) help

Just for reference: The initial screw cap Jobo system (without lift support, and with a potentially disastrous tendency to unscrew its lid when used on processors) had screw-in light traps.

When Jobo started with the lifts and automatic processors around the mid eighties, they introduced the still current system with the red push down sealing rings. The first generation of these Jobo 15xx/25xx tanks used a plastics spring system to hold back the funnel. This was soon replaced by the current bayonet system, as the plastics springs proved to be prone to break.
