Removing Translucent Crap on Print Surfaces off Epson R3000

Print Baryta papers in a newer Epson R3000 and noticing some clear liquid must be making streaks and pin dots on the print surface. I only see it when holding the print at a low angle to the light.

Any tips for getting rid of this? What is it? Thanks

What paper are you using? Uneven coating has been a problem with some of the gloss/semi gloss Baryta papers. I have mostly used Ilford Gold Fiber Silk and have not run into a problem, this is with a Canon ipf5000.

    Frank,

I can not find problems using Tetenal, Canson or Tecco glossy papers on a new R3000. Biggest problem is going through a lot of Photo Black ink as I have not figured out how to stop the switching of black inks when I don't want to.

Yes it does use a lot of the Photo Black... I am using the Harman Gloss Baryta, I will try a different brand and see if it is paper or printer-sourced. Thanks

Since I have used 5 or 6 different types and brands I think it is printer related.
