My 2.y.o having fun at the piano. Head moved a little, smearing the eye catchlight a little. Otherwise, I'm pleased. B&L Sigmar 19" at f4 1/30s, on 8x10 TMY2, developed in pyrocat hd.

I'm testing some lenses and compositions in preparation for a "seated at the piano" portrait where the actual sitter won't be tolerating much experimenting and wasted time.

Me too! Actually, I just spent yesterday writing for grants that would allow me to get a large enough body of work large together with the intentions of putting it into a published book.

I enjoyed the video you posted a while ago. I love the unpretentiousness of your 8x10 portraits, like Greg Miller but no need to wait for Ash Wednesday.

I actually LOLed at that. I love Miller's work, though his Ash Wednesday portraits never seem to strike a chord with me.

Took these last month, and developed them over the weekend. A continuation of my series of portraits of my Ride to Conquer Cancer bike team.
