    Official Fujinon Website

About 3 1/2 years ago, my Unofficial Fujinon Large format lens page went online at:

    http://www.thalmann.com/largeformat/fujinon.htm

At that time, there was no official web site with information on Fujinon large format lenses. That has changed. A couple months ago, while doing a google search, I came across an official Fujinon page at:

    http://www.fujifilm.co.jp/fujinon/

This site has information on their current large format lenses. Unfortunately, the site is in Japanese. It's not too hard to figure out what the specs in the tables mean. I have essentially the same information on my site, with the table headings in English at:

    http://www.thalmann.com/largeformat/mar-1997.htm

Still, I thought some of you might want to know that Fuji finally got around to putting up a web site with info on their LF lenses. Hopefully, that means they will continue to produce them for a while.

I think the Japanese site has been there for quite some time. Like you said, one can usually figure out the specs.

    Folks,

Thanks Kerry. Here's another fuji lens reference page that also has some info on the older lenses.

"one can always use Babelfish ( http://babelfish.altavista.com/ ) to translate"

True, but don't expect it to be much help. Electronic translators, while getting better, still only provide a very rough translation.

    Oh - I don't know...

    " Apochromat

In the one for approach photographing such as reproduction design. 3 color lights (B G R) with the lens which revises chromatic aberration perfectly, showing preeminent sharp Ness in approach. In addition very it is convenient to also carrying with the compact. "

No worse than some far-east product manuals I have read :-)

"When using the lenses it is to keep in mind that you may find that sharp Ness is most when using less opening in the opening. This can be done by not opening the lens to much and using less shutter fast Ness."
