    8mm to DVD conversion

I have a relative that asked me who does this? I don't know, I've never owned any 8mm. Anyway, any recommendations/testimonials? Thanks!

I've had mine done at our local Costco. They send it out, but the results have been just fine and the price is reasonable. I've had over 1,000 feet of old Super 8 and 8mm put on DVD, and while the navigation menus are a bit clunky it is easier than firing up the projector. In truth, though, I prefer to fire up the projector. Without the 'whirrr' of the film passing through the gate watching old home movies just isn't the same.

I have had mine transferred at Dwayne's Lab. The transfer was of good quality and the turnaround was surprisingly fast.
