Seems like you're taking the hard way. Even McMaster–Carr doesn't sell between 2 & 2.5. If metric doesn't fit, and it is indeed an Allen type, try English (inch) sizes.
Omega = made in USA! You need SAE wrenches! I have a special box of tools just for the Omega as it is one of the few things I own that uses SAE wrenches and hardware.
