best chemicals for Ilford BW 8x10

Hi. Im just building a darkroom for my Sands and Hunter 100 year old LF. Id like to know the best chemicals to use for Ilford 400 (8x10) sheet film, and also the one which has the most longevity once the stock has been made up. It will be kept in deep tanks with lids in the dark. The darkroom is very basic and I have no universal temp control bar a deep tank heater which Im waiting on. Many thanks for any responses and further related suggestions in this matter. HunterSands

In deep tanks I'd stick to ID-11/D76 or Xtol and replenish.
