    Slide mount cutting tool

    hey all,

Anyone have an idea of where to get one of these little cutting devices shown in this video? After showing my dad the capabilities of my drum scanner, he's interested in me scanning some of his slides from years past. Probably up to 75 or 100 total I'd imagine. However, since I know others who have expressed interest in me scanning for them(people who also shoot/shot 35mm slides), this tool could be a real time saver.

video as reference, the slide cutting tool the guy mounting film uses to slice open the mount:

    thanks

Wes's made a cardboard mount opener,. All you need though is a box knife and a small straight edge, metal type.
We sell those anti static cloths and they are not recommended for use on film. They can scratch and the cloth is treated so wiping film can lave a residue on film.
