    Tachihara 8x10 field question

    Hi,

I was wondering, could it be possible to add Sinar shutter in front of Tachihara 8x10 field?
    Tachihara takes Sinar plates.
Everybody has photograph memory, some just do not have film.

    Wetplate material available from Finland.

    Re: Tachihara 8x10 field question

The 8x10 Tachihara will accept Sinar lensboards, but the retaining mechanism is not at all similar.

The Sinar shutter is designed to mount on the back of the front standard, and to have the bellows mounted to the rear of the shutter.
There's no way to do that on the Tachihara.

I have both an 8x10 Sinar and an 8x10 Tachihara.
