Really like the Rivendell shots, not least because I have one in my fleet: good folks, good bikes, and now with good photography.

Meant to post this a few weeks ago when I shot it. My son early one morning:

Rivendell bikes are great, and most likely would appeal to many retro-grouchy film users ;-p http://www.rivbike.com/

Heh. Yeah, retro-grouch does seem to be a way of life. For me, it applies to bikes, cameras, and woodworking; haven't branched out into other things yet.

You didn't get a photo of Grant, did you? I know he follows Mike Johnston.

    ANDREW

Shot in February but just scanned. Andrew is an amazing guy who loves wandering around town listening to worship music. Sometimes you can hear him before you see him

This was shot as part of my 'As Faulty As We Are' series...sometimes we mistake incredible people for something less than what they are...

    Craig,

Intense portrait. I can stare at it for a long time and remain entranced. Well done.

Nice guy, we spent most of the afternoon together but he is very camera shy. Here is a snap: Click image for larger version.

Not sure if I will spring for one of his bikes, they are very nice and no more expensive than a good camera. I have more painful bikes already ;-p I'd really like to find a nice vintage bike that is rebuilt but I really don't have the skills to do it myself (I have attempted and failed!)
