Street photography images with large format struck me as a wonderful way to tell a story.

If it wasn't such a slow and wobby travel tripod challenge with the corresponding slow shutters to overcome!

This image, shot in the hutong alleyways of the ancient courtyards of Beijing, still hosts some of its aging residents. Agfa APX100, flash development in Fuji Artdol for 3 minutes and handprinted on Oriental Seagull FB graded paper. It's fun shooting on the Silvestri H (H for Hermes = god of lightning speed) with the wide angle Schneider Super Angulon 47mm XL f5.6 lens.

We released the album featuring the LF image - doesn't really show up much on a digital screen however the effort is there

The first 3 listens are a free gift to anyone who is interested beyond seeing what a photographer shoots, to hearing what a photographer sounds like when translating an image into a series of tonepoems.
