Not so much a directory, but if nothing else I feel compelled to list my alma mater, Ohio University.

Neil, it would be helpful if you indicated whereabouts in the world you intend to study. First port of call would then be the professional photography association in the relevant country(ies).

Listing of Photograph Departments or Schools

Photo district news might do a school round up /overview.

American Photo publishes a variation called "American Photo on Campus" which is aimed at Photographic education and which profiles different schools as wel las more generally coveringthe photographic scene. The current issue features a cover story on Diane Arbus , has astory about gregory Crewdson, the Canon 10D, Ektachrome E100GX, the Hasselblad H1, an on-line printing service from Ritz Camera, and a special section of student portfolios. the portfolios in this issue feature a student from each of the following: the photo-j program at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill ; The fine art /documentary program atthe School of Visual Arts; Rhode Island School of Design; the gadute prgram atthe University of Nevada; and documentary work from a grad student at Ohio University. They have also featured students from the school where I teach: <a http://www.portfoliocenter.com> The Portfolio Center in Atlanta, GA.</a> The University of Texas also has a fine photography program as does the University of Missouri.

What aspect of photography are you interested in studying?
