First of all: I am confused (but don't know much about computers): When I open this thread, the image does still show - when I then refresh it - it is gone...

Second: while I don't want to stirr the waters or get anyone in trouble, I find the idea to only allow nudes in the nude thread bad....

I make them all the time, and many of my images are more "at home" in other threads (alternative techniques - paper negs - galli style or what ever..)

Unfortunately I have had some (not a lot, but some) really bad reactions in the dedicated nude thread, so I actually dont feel much urge to submit to many images there..

A simple solution would be just to stop submitting images.

I'll remove the small attachment now. The "original" I can't do anything about it seems...

I really don't want you to stop posting, gandolfi; I love your work and think it's far more creative than most of the rest here. I don't know to solve the stupidity (both directions) in the Nude thread either and think it's a real pity you don't want to post there or would consider not posting at all. However, I want to browse LFPF in public sometimes, and my employers (as is typical) have very draconian policies; it'd be great if such images were considered safe and natural but sadly there are puritans to ruin it for the rest of us.

I personally like the solutions used by photo.net and flickr where images are tagged as (un)safe and you can filter accordingly. My guess is that it would be really onerous to implement that in forum software as it's not designed to be a generic tagging/filtering engine. Other forums mandate NSFW tags in post titles but that'd not work here since we tend to have huge shared threads.

Perhaps if we had separate Image Sharing (Safe) and Image Sharing (NSFW) sub-forums? That way content can be coarsely categorized and you're not limited to a single thread full of belligerent ignorance.

Please don't stop. You do lovely work.

Ignore the jerks. There are some folks who feel compelled to police various fora.
    They speak only for themselves.

They certainly DO NOT speak for me.

An even simpler solution would be for people to not look at these forums during work hours. I would prefer self-censorship on the viewer's side of things than on the poster's.

This is how I go about the forum.
I like it as it is.
I only view technical, etc. threads in all the forums I visit from werke.

That is the responsible way to use ANY imaging resource when at work.

I agree with that. I've always thought of tits as super safe myself, my son too for that matter
