Not sure if this is a still life or an abstract. Taken yesterday on the back porch.

Very well-photographed, and quite lovely in a soft, quiet way, Ken.

Jonathan, this is nice I like to see someone taking the time to make images of the seemingly mundane things around us. You give them a life.

Thanks for saying so. For some reason, and I am trying to sort out why, I find shooting mundane things more rewarding than shooting scenics or vistas. Being able to find something photographically worthwhile in the things I see and take for granted every day is a challenge I set for myself. Lots of the time I end up making mundane images of mundane scenes, but every now and again I make a photo that transcends its subject matter. Or at least I think so!
