    Question "6 1/2" x 8 1/2" Centar Series II"

Any idea what focal length this would be?
    Thanks.

    At a guess, 210mm.
There is a previous thread on the Centar (very basic, though).
    American sales origin (6 1/2 x 8 1/2 rather than the reverse!).
Seen on a Century Field camera - sounds logical 'cos of name.
Described as a RR F.8. Anything approaching an anastigmatic would have it engraved all over the barrel at this date.

The Centar II is a re-branded B&L f8 symmetrical rapid rectilinear w/ FL of 10 1/2" combined and 21" when using only one cell.

You can read more here. Just scroll down to the optics section of the catalog.

There are a couple of current users of the Century Grand cameras who have posted recently.
All catalogues from the cycle camera era are good - but the linked Century one is probably the most exciting of them all!
