My comments on pre-soak and times was meant for B&W film development. C-41 is another story. Times and temperatures are quite rigid with c-41 and that is why I use my Jobo for c-41. I don't pre-soak c-41 as I will temper the drum for 5mins in the Jobo water bath. I would temper the Unidrum in a bath of hot water and run some tests without film and check the temp of the water/developer in and out and adjust your times accordingly. The drum will hold its temperature pretty well in the short development times for c-41.
