    June 2012 Portraits

Ok, I will start, Hot off the press today. I got a call from the church to book in a fotoshoot for a retiring priest, after the digital mf shots were safely in the can I pulled out the crown graphic to the delight of the priest who willingly sat for a few shots on Type 59 and 55 polaroid..

Here is one on T55, f7,7 203mm Ektar, Crown Graphic I scanned it and sent him off with this in his pocket as a little keepsake

Wow! I think I like this one even more! He seems to be so tall in the frame-- very dignified. I bet he liked this one.

Yeah, that looks pretty great, Tom! I've done one batch of color roll film, but plan to do some more in 4x5, with my Symmar-S.

With eyes like that Ben, I think I would have used up all my film supplies in one sitting. Enjoyable series this.

Jeg ser at du er fra Surnadal. Er du norsk?

Thanks, and yes, I definitely shot through quite a few sheets of film while working with my friend Gillian. I used nearly all my loaded 8x10 and 5x7 film holders that afternoon.

Of the two Polaroids I like this one most. I really love the look of type 59, even when it's very expired, and I think it works especially well here.
