Hey, I can join in here. We had some large mushrooms in the backyard of my previous home from time to time.
Excellent David! That's motivation enough for me to try capturing fungi this rainy season.There doesn't seem to be a thread for images of fungi, so I thought I would start one. The forests near me are full of beautiful fungi at this time of year - here is one from this morning;

I'm more likely to pick mushrooms than photograph them, but only when I know they're edible. The platinum print features sulfur tuft shrooms, the fungi in the other 2 photos I've not identified.

It's mushroom time again on the west coast. Late this year because August weather stretched in early October.
Inky Caps in Tree Cavity. The neg was a little thin. I just guessed at the bellows factor as the light was fading. Lith printed OK, though.
