    Hello David, just to complete the caption one should add that this Oudemanciella is edible after thorough washing (as is often the case with rather slick mushrooms). Yet another way to enjoy it...

    Hey, I can join in here. We had some large mushrooms in the backyard of my previous home from time to time.

    I'm more likely to pick mushrooms than photograph them, but only when I know they're edible. The platinum print features sulfur tuft shrooms, the fungi in the other 2 photos I've not identified.

    It's mushroom time again on the west coast. Late this year because August weather stretched in early October.

    Inky Caps in Tree Cavity. The neg was a little thin. I just guessed at the bellows factor as the light was fading. Lith printed OK, though.
