Precision Camera Works is Arca dealer

I was just looking up Precision Camera Works address from their website and there is an announcement that Bob Watkins in addition to being the authorized Arca Swiss repair service, he is now also an official dealer for the entire system.

I thought some of you might like to know. I also like to support Bob as he is a really good guy.

I would like to second your opinion of Bob Watkins too. I used Bob to overhaul my Mamiya 645 system before I gave it to my niece. He is a gentleman and quite knowledgeable with various systems. I used him as a reference guide when I purchased a used Arca Swiss tripod head. He gave me many fine tips as what to look for and how to test it prior to concluding my transaction.

I would highly recommend him for any questions pertaining to the Acra Swiss system and for repairs of any fine cameras.

I have used Bob in the past for a Linhof repair in which he did a fantastic job. I am an Arca Swiss user and will now send him my Arca Swiss retail business. Thank you for the heads-up Richard!

He does a range of other types of repairs and was trained by Sinar. He has a speciality of doing panoramic and aerial rigging, odd special work like that. He's where you go when you want it done right the first time.

Bob did some repair work for me a couple of years ago. He was very helpful and fast, and the repair was fairly priced. A pleasure to deal with.

Well, I'll jump on the Bob W. fan club band wagon. He's kept my old Arca Swiss working like a gem including doing a fine job of CLA work on an aging Schneider Symmar.
